Who we are

Acek London is operated by Cameron Ellis. For any privacy questions, email hello@acek-london.co.uk. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.

What we collect, and why

• Email address — when you join the pre-order list or place an order. Used for launch notifications, order confirmations, shipping updates, and (with your permission) future product news. Legal basis: consent for mailing, contract performance for orders.
• Shipping address and name — when you place an order, so we can ship the item to you. Legal basis: contract performance.
• Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see your card number. See Stripe's privacy notice at stripe.com/gb/privacy.
• Marketing attribution data — when you arrive via a tagged link (UTM parameters from an ad, social post, or QR code) we record the source, the referring page, your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string alongside your subscription or order. This helps us understand which channels work and protects the form from abuse. We do not use this to build a profile of you beyond the attribution itself.
• Anonymous site analytics — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not identify individuals.
• Server-side conversion events — when an order completes, our server sends a `purchase` event to Google Analytics 4 via the Measurement Protocol. This contains the order value and a randomly generated client identifier; it does not include your name, email, or address.

Who we share data with

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — sending order and marketing emails.
• Royal Mail — delivering your order.
• Cloudflare — hosting and abuse protection.

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with anyone except the processors listed above.

How long we keep it

• Order data: 7 years, to meet UK tax record-keeping requirements.
• Subscriber email: until you unsubscribe.
• Analytics: aggregated only.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to confirm what data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop marketing to you. Email hello@acek-london.co.uk and we'll respond within 30 days.

If you're not happy with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your data we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes affecting existing customers or subscribers will also be emailed.
